This mother-daughter session was captured right at the edge of summer fading into the early autumn. I always love having the opportunity to photograph mothers and daughters together, especially because I’m so close with my own mother! This sweet young lady is entering such a special, precious, unique age. I’m so thankful this sweet Mama decided to capture this transitionary time in their lives before heading back to school and beginning a new chapter in their lives.
Mother’s wrap dress in a beautiful rich burnt orange color is a great and flattering wardrobe choice. I love the combination of the warm earthy tone on a flowy and interesting silhouette.
These photos were taken on a warm, cloudy day, right before sunset, with a Canon Mark IV and a 50mm lens. All photos were edited in both Lightroom and Photoshop.
