Silicon Valley Newborn Lifestyle Session

Newborn photography falls into two categories: posed, in-studio photography, and lifestyle/documentary photography. I appreciate and adore the exquisite beauty of both, but I especially love the way that lifestyle newborn sessions are laid-back, authentic, and effortlessly include the new parents into the photos.  Documentary sessions are captured right in the comfort of your very own home, which always makes everyone feel most at ease. They are slow and un-rushed. The baby or children set the tone and pace for the photos. Newborn photography is especially natural, organic, and candid. I simply photograph my families, exactly as they are—no over-the-top props, babies in baskets, or excessive Photoshop. Just you and your loved ones, snuggling in the comfort of your own sofa and bedroom.

Understandably, having a baby is a really huge milestone in a person’s life, and new parents have their hands pretty full with the new transition. That’s why in-home lifestyle sessions are so easy and effortless. It’s probably the easiest type of photography session to get ready for! You just put on some clothes and relax with your sweeties in your own home :)

This beautiful family is excited to welcome their newest addition to the world. Sweet baby V is already so, so, so abundantly loved. And just like me, she has a big brother 3 years older than her to watch out for her!

Congratulations to this beautiful family, finally complete with the newest addition.

My goodness, blessings abound, don’t they?
