Lifestyle Family Session with Baby L | Silicon Valley Newborn Photographer | Bay Area Newborn Photography

SF Peninsula Newborn Photography

The wonderful advantage of newborn lifestyle photography is that there are truly no boundaries or limitations on what a session should be like. There are no rules, prescribed poses or limitations on timing. Each family dynamic is different; each location (set right in your own home!) is different, and so the photos are all completely unique. This approach to lifestyle photography displays each family’s true story in a real & honest way.
This sweet Sunnyvale Newborn Lifestyle Session took place about a week after Baby L was born, but baby lifestyle sessions can be photographed for even several months after the little one’s arrival! Baby L was a perfect muse for this sessions and had two sweet parents and a watchful and loving older sister.

Newborn lifestyle sessions are scheduled completely at the family’s convenience. To schedule a session, let me know your due date and I will leave several morning slots open around that time so we can arrange the exact date once the baby arrives. There is no rush to schedule a session. The most important thing is that my mamas & the whole family feel comfortable and ready for the session.

I recommend families wear laid back, neutrals clothing that they feel comfortable in. Colors like white, khaki, grey, and baby blue or pink always photograph very well for newborn lifestyle sessions photographed right in the comfort of your own home.

All photographs in this gallery were shot on a Canon 5D Mark IV and 35mm lens. All images were edited in Lightroom and Photoshop both.
