This sweet baby was so sweet and so very calm! She had a gentle, peaceful spirit. She was watching and studying the world around her. I think she will grow up to be a sage! She had big blue soulful eyes that were just stunningly vivid.
We chose Rancho San Antonio for this location. These photos were taken outside of Golden Hour which is a bit unusual for me! We stayed in the shade to capture even lighting for these photos, which is very important when shooting outside Golden Hour.
This family did a beautiful job choosing coordinated and laid back wardrobe without appear over the top or matching too closely. The subtle neutral patterns in Mom’s dress are lovely and not distracting. Baby blues are always a safe, classic choice that tend to photograph very well.
This session was photographed on a Canon 5D Mark IV with a 35mm 1.4 lens. This session features a 6month old milestone session. Common photography milestones for Baby’s First Year packages include maternity photos, Fresh 48, newborn lifestyle (done in the family’s home), 6 month session, and 1 year photos.
All photos were hand edited with no presets or actions. Photos were processed using a combination of both Lightroom and Photoshop.
