Sunset light like this is truly a masterpiece to witness. When we’re lucky enough to capture it, it elevates family photos into a true art form!
This light touches the hills in the last 20 minutes or so right before sunset. This location is convenient to reach and has ample parking. It is sometimes crowded at this park first thing in the morning, but fortunately by sunset the park tends to empty out.

This family photo gallery was taken in Mountain View, California. Many of my families live in Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Los Altos, and Cupertino, and request locations that are reasonably convenient so they can be home in time for bed. This is a quick, close by location that doesn’t require any extra hiking or a long drive.
This is one of my favorite locations for beautiful family photos in the South Bay, and I’m sure you can see why!
