We photographed this beautiful maternity session at the end of summer, about 75 minutes before sunset. We chose a beautiful outdoor space in Menlo Park which was soaked in gorgeous summer lighting. This gallery is undoubtedly one of my favorites I’ve had the privilege to photograph. Is there anything on earth more beautiful than the promise of a new life, deeply loved and prayed for? My heart just loves photographing maternity sessions, especially with a couple just like this! Seeing their love and excited anticipation is such a treasure. I am honored to have the privilege of photographing this milestone before they undertake such a grand adventure with their new baby.
This beautiful gallery celebrates the growing life of a proud and excited couple soon to welcome their baby son into the world. Maternity sessions are best photographed around 30-32 weeks. Her gorgeous red dress accentuates her growing belly and highlights her sweet baby bump. I love this rich, bold color. You can opt for a figure-hugging dress or a flowing dress, but I do recommend long maternity dresses over short maternity dresses. It is also best to opt for a single color, or small subtle patterns, when choosing an outfit. Skip the bold, big, or vibrant patterns for another day.
