I know so many mamas who have told me about getting caught up in life and routines and the understandable whirlwind of life, and suddenly it's been years and years since they had proper family photos made. Just snapshots. Usually on an iPhone, these days. And even more commonly--and tragically? Mama is never in the photos. She's always the one holding the camera.

Read MoreSometimes I am lucky enough to meet a family so good and wholesome and fun that the world just seems like a brighter place. This family is definitely like that for me. It warms my heart so much to know that such wonderful families are out there, and I am lucky enough to occasionally cross paths with them in my particular line of work. Also, shoutout to this awesome Dad as well! This sweet father is one of the most involved and enthusiastic Dads I’ve ever photographed. I’ve photographed lots of great Dads but he definitely deserves a special mention. And this family is so incredibly close and loving with each other, it’s clearly evident in their photos. I am so excited for their two beautiful young daughters to grow up and see where their beautiful paths take them.
